Upcoming Events

Herbal medicine is active, interactive and always exciting! Here are some upcoming events I will be running or participating in.

Herbal Self Care Workshop

Saturday 14 February, 10am-1pm
The Langton BS4 4EG

At a time when the hype around Valentines Day is making many people feel like they are somehow not enough in and of themselves, make yourself the priority! This workshop invites you to tap into your senses and listen to your needs and longings. You will  also learn about a variety of medicinal herbs that can be your allies in looking after yourself, culminating in creating your own bespoke tea blend to tae home with you. And since everybody loves and deserves a bit of pampering, we will also make a luxurious body butter as a gift to ourselves!

  • Introduction to Self-Care Herbs

You will learn about the a selection of herbs that are powerful allies in soothing and nourishing the nervous system, aid sleep, reduce tension and alleviate grief and trauma.

  • Intuitive Tea Tasting

We will explore the practice of “intuitive tea tasting” - a way to experience a herb with all your senses. Intuitive tasting teaches you to trust your senses to unveil the characteristics of a herb, discover how it acts in your body and what it can do for you.

  • Tea Blending

Using insights from the introductory talk and the intuitive tasting, you have the opportunity to sample and experience herbs that you feel called to, creating your very own tea blend in the process.  Of course I will be there to offer guidance and answer questions about herbs that you wish to explore - curiosity is encouraged!

  • Indulgent Body Butter

What is self-care without a bit of self-indulgence? Together we will make a batch of sumptuous body butter, for you to take home. Not only is it a fun process, but you get to explore another way herbs can nourish you: through scents and sensuousness.

Cost: £40 per person

A non-refundable deposit of £10 is needed to secure your place. Please use the contact form, phone or email to book your place.

*** The workshop will go ahead with a minimum of  two participants, but for fewer than four participants, the venue will change to Holos Herbal Practice BS5 9DX.
