Herbal medicine is active, interactive and always exciting! Here are some upcoming events I will be running or participating in.
"A morning with Nettle"
Wednesday 18 March 10:30am, The Cafe in The Langton BS4 4EG
Join me for the first of my new monthly mini-workshops! At each session, I will introduce you to a herb that you can either forage at the time, or easily find in your kitchen or garden. You will learn about many different ways to use the herb: From folklore to cooking recipes, as well as home remedies and medicinal uses.
For March, nettle is the star! It is one of my favourite herbs - I just cannot imagine my dispensary without it. There is so much to discover about nettle, so bring your curiosity! You will also have the opportunity to try different preparations made with nettle, and go home with a recipe or two for you to try.

Booking is essential, as there are limited places, and there is a nominal fee of £5, but you will get to redeem the full value against herbal goodies on the day - I will bring a selection of herbal tea blends, tinctures and balms. (And yes, some will contain nettle!)
